While on my vacation to Yellowstone National Park, I read The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman (author of Coraline). This book is about a young boy whose family is killed. He is "taken in" by the graveyard that he wanders into and is raised by the various ghosts and creatures that live there. His new graveyard family protect him and teach him until he becomes a teenager and finally meets his family's killer. Fans of Coraline will enjoy this Newberry award-winning book by Gaiman. This book is sometimes creepy and a little scary and is intended for ages 10 and up.
